Justin Trudeau and his Liberal Party won yesteday's national elections in Canada, according to NRK. Conservative candidate Andrew Scheer has admitted defeat.

Trudeau's party became the biggest party of the parliament, though not with an absolute majority like before. The party thus will have to form a coalition government with one or more other parties.

A series of scandals during the election campaign appear to not have had much effect on Trudeau's support.
