The Norwegian Ministry of Oil and Energy offers 61 exploitation licenses on the Norwegian shelf for the TFO 2020 allocation round.

The 61 licenses are distributed across the North Sea (34), the Norwegian Sea (24) and the Barents Sea (3). A total of 30 companies, ranging from major international actors to smaller Norwegian companies, are offered parts of one or more of these licenses.

The companies involved in the three Barents Sea licenses are Vår Energy, Wintershall, Lundin and Petoro.
