This week, the EU decided to contribute with €225 million to education and growth in Greenland for the 2021-2027 period, according to KNR.
90 percent of the funds will go towards education, whereas the remaining ten percent will be used for so-called “green growth”.
Greenland is not a member of the EU, despite its being part of the Danish Realm, however, it has a long-lasting partnership agreement with the EU on cooperation about education.
