The Arctic Philharmonic has been nominated for Grammy 2023 in three different categories for two of its latest recordings, writes Nordlys.

Their album "Dark with Excessive Bright" is nominated in the "Best Classical Compendium" category.

In addition, the orchestra's signature release, "Lyden av Arktis" ("The Sound of the Arctic," ed. translation), is included in the portfolio of Morten Lindberg, who has been nominated for the award "Producer of the Year, classical" for four of his releases.

The Grammy Award is an American award presented by the Recording Academy since 1959 for outstanding achievements in music. The award ceremony is held annually in February and is considered a parallel to the Academy Award in film.
