Following an epidemic amongst dogs in Greenland in 2016, costing more than 400 dogs their lives, a vaccination programme was introduced.
While there have been delays in introducing and monitoring the programme in some places, results nevertheless show that none of the vaccinated dogs have taken ill since vaccination.
One in four dogs is vaccinated per today, says the naalakkersuisut (minister) in charge, Nikkulaat Jeremiassen, according to Sermitsiaq.
