In Greenland, the fight for the leadership position in the leading party Simiut intensifies prior to its national assembly coming up, Sermitsiaq reports.
At the upcoming national assembly, the party is to elect a leader. The incumbent is Kim Kielsen, who holds both the position as party leader and that of premier of the self-rule government. He is challenged by Vivian Motzfeldt and Erik Jensen.
Vivian Motzfeldt has a home page on which she writes about a series of critical allegations against Kielsen and his way of running the party. She argues that the party leader threatens other party members into agreement and often does not respect the division of powers between the Inatsisartut (parliament) and Naalakkersuisut (self-rule government).
The Siumut national assembly will take place during the last weekend of November.
