Russia has postponed a scheduled launch of a satellite aimed at monitoring climate in the Arctic, according to KNR.

The Arktika-M satellite was to be launched into an orbit covering both poles on the globe. The reason for the delay has not been announced.

The Russian space agency Roscosmos has announced that a new launch date will be announced at a later stage.
