The autumn session of Greenland’s parliament Inatsisartut has been shut with immediate effect and will remain shut indefinitely due to a potential corona infection risk case, according to KNR.
All the members of the Inatsisartut’s standing committee on finances have been sent into home quarantine following the discovery that a person with whom the committee has met had not adhered to quarantine regulations following his being in touch with a person in Aasiaat who has been diagnosed with Corona infection.
Items on the Inatsisartut’s agenda have been postponed until further notice.
The management of the Inatsisartut will decide whether to prolong the autumn session or whether the remaining issues are to be transferred to later sessions.
