Three hunters were attacked by a polar bear near Ummannaq, Greenland last week while they were about to part a musk ox they had hunted, according to KNR.

The polar bear attacked the three men one by one. The latter one managed to scare the bear away with a rifle shot and the bear fled the scene.

The polar bear was skinny and clearly reduced, the hunters say. Last week, a polar bear was shot in Aasiaat and another one sighted near Ilulissat.

And the musk ox meat? The hunters managed to salvage it and bring it home with them.
