Greenland’s Oversight Committee is looking into the case where Greenland’s Premier Kim Kielsen has been accused of incompetence in relation to increasing catfish quotas, according to KNR.
The Committee has sent a series of questions to Kielsen and will decide on potential further action once his response has been received.
Kielsen has denied that he was incompetent on the matter, whereas a series of legal experts argue that he was. Kielsen’s government raised the catfish quota by 204 tons while at the same time Kielsen was renting out his fishing boat to a friend involved in catching catfish.
