This summer, the Tasikuluulik Adventure Race will take place for the first time ever, on Greenland. In two days, participants will run 36 kilometers, row 12 kilometers in a kayak, bike 42 kilometers, rappel, and put up a tent near an inland glacier. It will all be done in teams of two people.
The competition is organized by a club founded for this very purpose. The race club aims to create a forum for active people while also offering an annual event that highlights a unique landscape and contributing to local ownership in relation to tourism.
The race is to take place on the Tasikuluulik peninsula in southern Greenland, according to Sermitsiaq.
