Ambassador Robert Kvile was announced ambassador to Moscow, Russia, on Friday. In a press release from the Norwegian government, it is revealed that Kvile will take office at a time set by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Kvile has been Norway's ambassador in Prague, Czech Republic, since 2018. He was the Consul General to Murmansk from 2000 to 2002.
