Thursday, former Party Secretary for the Siumut governing party in Greenland Mikael Petersen was sentenced to 60 days in prison for sexually offending a total of four different women with ties to the party, according to KNR.

Petersen was convicted on all charges. He denies any wrongdoing.

The 60-day sentence was in line with the prosecutor’s demand. Petersen has appealed the sentence and the case will now come before an appeals court.
