On Friday, almost 600 passengers had their journeys canceled by Air Greenland due to bad weather in Greenland. The passengers were traveling to and from Nuuk, Maniitsog, Paamiut, and Sisimiut. That is reported by Kalaallit Nunaata Radioa, Greenlandic Broadcasting Corporation. Air Greenland reported on Sunday that they were still working to get the passengers on their way.

The majority of the stranded passengers are in Copenhagen because Air Greenland had to cancel flights to and from Denmark on Friday. Now, Air Greenland has chartered a flight from Nice Air between Copenhagen and Kangerlussuaw. In addition to the many passengers that are traveling between Denmark and Greenland, there are also people stranded in North and East Greenland.
