Greenland’s Premier Kim Kielsen has been accused of incompetence, according to Sermitsiaq.

The Inuit Ataqatigiit (IA) party has been vocal in its criticism of Kielsen following his renting out a fishing boat to a friend who has been catching catfish while at the same time Kielsen’s self-rule government increased this year’s catfish quota by 204 tons.

Kielsen agues that he was not incompetent in the quota decision. He argues that he rented out his boat to a good friend as the friend’s own vessel had an engine failure, and that everything has proceeded according to book and been adequately registered.
