Greenland Wants To Be More Present in NATO

Naalakkersuisut, the Greenlandic government, wants to strengthen Greenland's position within defence and security politics by establishing a more direct connection to NATO. This is reported by Sermitsiaq.

Specifically, Naalakkersuisut proposes to spend two million Danish kroner on a representative in NATO's headquarters in Brussels.

"To ensure that our perspective is heard and to gain quick access to information, money is set aside for this purpose," says Naaja H. Nathanielsen, Minister of Finance and Gender Equality.
