Greenland Transport Service Contracts Signed Without Public Tender Competition

Greenland’s Naalakkersuisut has approved of the new 10-year long passenger transport service agreements, according to Sermitsiaq. The contracts have not been invited through publicly announced tenders.

Agreements have been concluded with Air Greenland, Disko Line, Norlandair and Arctic Umiaq Line.

The contracts have been concluded following approval from the Finance and Tax Committee of the Naalakkersuisut. However, opposition parties Partii Naleraq and IA do not support the agreements, arguing that a series of mistakes have been made, according to KNR.
