The Faroe Islands and the Spanish region Catalonia have entered into an agreement about digitalization, according to Sermitsiaq.

The Faroese Minister of Finance says they are in particular looking to cooperate about 5G technology and online security. The Catalonian Minister of Digitalisation has expressed an interest in the Nordic digital identity.

The Faroe Islands has similar agreements with the Nordic as well as the Baltic countries.
