Denmark Wants to Help the Faroe Islands Enter WHO

Denmark’s Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod (S) says Denmark wants to help the Faroe Islands become associated member of the World Health Organization (WHO), according to Sermitsiaq.

Denmark has been a member of the WHO since its inception in 1948.

The WHO currently has 194 member states as well as two associated members; Puerto Rico and Tokelau.
