A total of three persons at Thule Air Base, an American air base in Greenland, have been infected with the Corona virus, according to Sermitsiaq.

Greenland’s Chief Medical Officer Henrik L. Hansen says to the paper that two of the cases are people who recently brought infection with them in from the USA, whereas the third probably was infected while at the base. All transport in and out from Thule Air Base to other destinations in Greenland have been halted.

Greenland currently has no cases of infection apart from those on Thule Air Base.

There are, in addition to Americans, 50 Greenlanders at the air base. They are the responsibility of Greenland.
