The culture ministers have decided that the next joint Nordic cultural initiative will be held in Canada in 2021.

The cultural initiative, which will last for the whole of 2021, will receive DKK 5 million in funding from the Nordic Council of Ministers for Culture.

Previous initiatives have taken place in London and Washington. Canada was selected following a competition with 23 proposals, eight of which made it onto the shortlist.
