The USA and Denmark plan to strengthen their military cooperation, according to Sermitsiaq.

Danish Defense Minister Trine Bramsen said this prior to a NATO meeting in Brussels recently. At the meeting, Bramsen met with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. Bramsen further said that she has a standing invitation to visit Austin in the USA, and that she plans on accepting the invitation.

At the meeting, the two discussed increasingly aggressive behavior from both Russia and China, according to Brømsen, and she said it is no secret that Greenland is a concern for both countries when it comes to defense politics, being in their respective immediate neighborhoods.
