The number of complaints reported to the police regarding sexual abuse of children in Greenland has never been higher than in 2019, according to KNR.

Last year, a total of 85 complaints regarding sexual abuse of children under the age of 15 were reported to the police in Greenland.

Scientists say it is quite likely that the high number of complaints is related to increased awareness amongst citizens as well as more systematic efforts from the authorities.
