Norway’s Minister of Foreign Affairs to the US to Discuss Cooperation in NATO and the Arctic

Today, Tuesday, Norway's Minister of Foreign Affairs Anniken Huitfeldt (Labor) will go to Washington DC for meetings with the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and the President's national security advisor Jake Sullivan. She will also meet experts from think thanks.

On the agenda are topics such as cooperation in NATO and the Arctic region, as well as the situation in Ukraine.

På agendaen er temaer som samarbeid i Nato og den arktiske regionen, samt situasjonen i Ukraina.

The US Department of Defense recently established a strategic unit in the Arctic region.

Tomorrow, Huitfeldt will participate in meetings in the UN Security Council about climate and security in Africa, as well as the situation in Colombia. This is reported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release.
