Greenland’s Naalakkersuisut reacts negatively to lobbying efforts from the Greenland Minerals mining company (GML), according to Sermitsiaq.

Naalakkersuisut has discovered that GML has attepted to unduly affect a decision of the Greenland Envirnomental Agency in relation to the appealing by the company of a decision made by the GEA. Greenland Minerals lost the appeal on all accounts.

- This is unacceptable and we request that the GML stops using this approach in the future, Chairman of the Naalakkersuisut Kim Kielsen and Head of Department Mette S. Pedersen write in a letter to GML.
