Following the Arctic Council Ministerial Meeting in Reykjavik on Thursday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken went to Greenland.
There, he met with Greenland’s premier Múte B. Egede, Greenland’s Foreign Secretary Pele Broberg and Danish Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod. Both excursions and meetings were on the agenda during the blitz visit to Greenland, according to Sermitsiaq.
At the subsequent press meeting, Blinken emphasized that the USA values Greenland as a cooperation partner an that the US wants to strengthen relations with Greenland.
