In Greenland, a vote amongst the Siumut party’s local divisions demonstrates massive support for party foreman Kim Kielsen, who is also the leader of Greenland’s self-rule authority. Sermitisaq reports this.

The vote came following a written vote of no confidence towards Kielsen from seven out of the Siumut party members representing in Greenland’s parliament, requesting him to leave office.

Kielsen will now continue as party chairman and head of the self-rule government.
