Aleqa Hammond is back in the Siumut party following an invitation from party leader Erik Jensen and the party leadership, Sermitsiaq reports.

Hammond was excluded from Siumut in 2016 due to a revelation of her repeatedly abusing public funds.

Then-party chair Kim Kielsen decided to have her excluded from the party, Sermitsiaq writes. Earlier this year, Kielsen lost the chairmanship election to Erik Jensen.
