US Department of Defense Working on Updated Arctic Strategy The Pentagon is in the process of updating its Arctic strategy, Assistant Secretary of Defense Melissa Dalton said during the Arctic Encounters conference last week. The Department of Defense’s current Arctic strategy was released in June 2019.
