Mining in Northern Norway Started Ahead of Schedule - Then Put on Hold On June 16th, Canadian Blue Moon Metals announced that it had started underground construction of the Nussir mine in Finnmark and thereby completed its first blast ahead of schedule. Shortly after, all operations were paused until further notice.
Nussir Has Several New Interested Copper Buyers “We have several interested buyers, and we have had that the whole time. When Aurubis was offered the Letter of Intent, it was in sharp competition with other actors”, says Nussir CEO Øystein Rushfeldt.
