Nine projects receive support from the Norwegian Barents Secretariat

Nine projects receive support from the Norwegian Barents Secretariat for sports, culture and business development in the North. The projects range from festivals and art projects to sports, youth activities and business development, with actors from Norway, Sweden and Finland.

Common for the projects is that they strengthen cooperation across borders and contribute to development in local communities in the North.

The projects are:

1. Interreg Aurora: Culture and creative industries. NOK 424,500.
2. Preliminary project: Cross-border football and club development project. NOK 37,000.
3. Kväänifästi – Being a Kven 2026. NOK 45,000.
4. Nordic Arctic Youth Summit II. NOK 122,000.
5. Createch North: AI Leap. NOK 399,300.
6. Sámi beassášmárkanat x Gaskaijašurra. NOK 270,000.
7. Njauddâm – Jânnemm maainast // Njauddâm – The land speaks. NOK 898,000.
8. Barents Summer Games 2026. NOK 1,500,000.
9. End of the road, minifestival E-75 Vardø. NOK 328,000.
